1. Do you judge a book by its cover?
I don't judge it. I just happen to grab the pretty covers first, because my eyeballs are drawn to pretty colors, and shinny stuff.
2. Do you have a blogging routine?
Oh, you mean that thing where I get up early every morning, turn my PC on, inhale a quick breakfast, and latch onto blogging for the next few hours?
3. Is there a series you'll read over and over again and never get tired of?
Harry Potter, of course. All of Tamora Pierce's Books, because she rocks. Hmm and I'll probably never get tired of Maria V Snyder's novels either, though I haven't had the time to re-read them yet.
4. What are two of your favorite fictional worlds that you'd like to see together?
Oh! Oh! Vampire Academy with like Divergent or some dystopian world like that. I'd love to see those characters dealing with a ravaged or controlled world where maybe they're being hunted or something.
5. If you could meet a fictional character, who would it be and why?
Oh…You didn't mean from each book?
6. How do you feel about book to movies or book or TV shows?
I'm open to it.
I know a lot of people don't like the idea of movies because "oh my gosh, they cut this and that scene." I'm not like that. I realize there's no way to do an entire book in 2 or 3 hours. So, I'm mostly pissed when the actors don’t get the characters right (coughtwilighcough), or if they change a scene so much that it changes the meaning of it or the awesomeness of it doesn't show (coughstatuebattleinHPorderofthephoenixcough).
Same thing with series. Though with series there's always bound to be more changes to the script. Sometimes even going with another plot altogether like Vampire Diaries or Secret Circle. And I still love them both.
7. How many unread books do you have? On your TBR list?
On my TBR list there are 353 books…no,354…355…Do you see my problem?
8. What's your favorite book this year?
Not sure how to answer this. If you mean released this year then that would be Scarlet by A.C. Gaughen. If you mean that I've read this year, well… there are too many but I'll say The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern.
9. Ebooks or physical books? Which do you prefer?
I was dead set against ebooks from the moment they were mentioned…until I got my kindle. I don't have a preference really, but the books that I really love, I end up buying a hardcopy just to have the beautiful cover on my shelf.
10. What's your favorite genre?
YA – Adventure, Paranormal, Dystopia, Fantasy, Romance, Steampunk, Urban Fantasy, Historical if it has paranormal, Sci-fi if its dystopia.
