busy, bySY, BUSY

Hello, lovely readers!

As many of you know, I'm currently working on a MFA in Writing Popular Fiction from Seton Hill University. It's a lot of fun, but it's also a lot of work, and though I've tried to balance school work with blog work, I'm totally failing.

I haven't read a book in two months, more or less, due to the amount of work I signed up for this term. I'm taking two classes--a Grammar class and a Teaching class--plus thesis editing and revision work, and trying to keep my sanity amid it all. It's because of this that I've sort of run out of review posts. Yikes! I have like three more books I really need to review and will post in the upcoming weeks, but after that I can make no promises.

What does this all mean, you ask? It means that Amy's Book Den book reviews and Teaser Tuesdays won't be posted weekly anymore. I will try to have at least one review per month and a short one at that, but the only things posted regularly will be Waiting on Wednesday and Out This Week. I will also keep the Waiting For list updated. I'll maybe start again hosting book tours, because it really feels like I'm letting everyone down by not posting reviews  T____T

Hopefully, all this craziness and super heavy workload will become less next term. I'm almost finished with my thesis and next term I'll either continue with revisions or start a second project, and I'll only have one class. So, I'll have time to read...

I REALLY DO MISS READING!

Never, ever cry. . . . Eureka Boudreaux's mother drilled that rule into her daughter years ago. But now her mother is gone, and everywhere Eureka goes he is there: Ander, the tall, pale blond boy who seems to know things he shouldn't, who tells Eureka she is in grave danger, who comes closer to making her cry than anyone has before.

But Ander doesn't know Eureka's darkest secret: ever since her mother drowned in a freak accident, Eureka wishes she were dead, too. She has little left that she cares about, just her oldest friend, Brooks, and a strange inheritance—a locket, a letter, a mysterious stone, and an ancient book no one understands. The book contains a haunting tale about a girl who got her heart broken and cried an entire continent into the sea. Eureka is about to discover that the ancient tale is more than a story, that Ander might be telling the truth . . . and that her life has far darker undercurrents than she ever imagined. From Lauren Kate comes an epic saga of heart-stopping romance, devastating secrets, and dark magic . . . a world where everything you love can be washed away.
Why am I waiting for it?
I really loved her Fallen series and I’m very excited for this!
