He’ll guard her body all night long.
Former Marine Jude Wilde’s motto has always been “burn bridges and never look back,” so nobody is more surprised when Wilde Security is hired to protect assistant district attorney Libby Pruitt, the woman he loved and left. Although she makes it clear she wants nothing to do with Jude, they’re forced to fake a relationship for her safety. He can’t ignore the heat still simmering between them, and when her stalker’s threats escalate to attempted murder, he’s left with no choice but to whisk her away to a friend’s safe house in Key West, FL.
Cooped up in paradise together, Jude begins to chip away at Libby’s resolve to hate him. But even as she gives in to his proximity and her body’s demands for his, she refuses to fall for his charms again. Maybe a torrid affair in the sun is exactly what she needs to get him out of her system. But when her stalker tracks them down, can they escape the steamy Key West night without anyone getting hurt?

Man Made BoyJon SkovronOctober 3 2013Love can be a real monster.Sixteen-year-old Boy’s never left home. When you’re the son of Frankenstein’s monster and the Bride, it’s tough to go out in public, unless you want to draw the attention of a torch-wielding mob. And since Boy and his family live in a secret enclave of monsters hidden under Times Square, it’s important they maintain a low profile.Boy’s only interactions with the world are through the Internet, where he’s a hacker extraordinaire who can hide his hulking body and stitched-together face behind a layer of code. When conflict erupts at home, Boy runs away and embarks on a cross-country road trip with the granddaughters of Jekyll and Hyde, who introduce him to malls and diners, love and heartbreak. But no matter how far Boy runs, he can’t escape his demons—both literal and figurative—until he faces his family once more. This hilarious, romantic, and wildly imaginative tale redefines what it means to be a monster—and a man.

~Manly Scream~“Well?” she prompted.“I feel ridiculous.”“You should.” And she probably shouldn’t take so much delight in the fact that his ears had turned bright red, but…honestly, it was adorable. She would have dialed down her teasing if he wasn’t laughing at himself right along with her. “You screamed like a little girl.”“Bullshit.” He finally looked up with an expression of mock horror. “It was a manly scream.”“Very manly,” she said and patted his hand.

(South Hills Sidekicks #1)
Authors: Leah Spiegel and Meg Summers
Publication: February 11th 2012
Genre: Humorous YA Chick-Lit
Buy: Kindle ♥ Paperback
When Alley started her senior year at Upper East High in the South Hills area, it was supposed to be the usual drag of hanging out with people who spent more on one outfit than Alley did on her entire wardrobe. That was until Kirsten, a girl in their clique, suddenly goes missing and the only people who seem to care are her friends. All evidence leads to the new comer Shane, a cocky and self-pretentious person in Alley’s opinion, but the police seem uninterested so she and the rest of the girls start a little investigation of their own. But they are nowhere closer to finding Kirsten than when they started and now they had the police’s attention; just not in the way they expected. The girls have to start over and discover that maybe it wasn’t an outsider who took Kirsten, but someone within their own clique who has something to hide; a secret that just might have gotten Kirsten killed.
Excerpt 1
“I can’t believe I let you guys talk me into this.” She winced.
“What?” Kayla and I laughed. “We talked you into this?”
“Like heck we did,” Libby added hotly, and then stole a suspicious glance at a guy nearby.
“You’re the one who came to me with the scary story of being stalked.” She aimed the first glare at me. “What kind of friend would I be if I didn’t try to fix it for you?”
“I thought we were doing this for Kirsten?” I reminded her as the trolley dipped underground, the skyscrapers above.
“Her too.” She gulped. “I’m a really good friend.”
“Does this mean we can turn around now?” Libby sounded hopeful as the trolley turned the bend and Steel Plaza came into view.
“You guys could learn a thing or two from me, you know,” she insisted.
“Yeah, like let the cops do the investigating.” I smirked.
Excerpt 2
“Can I help you?” Kellan Lutz’s body double asked. He looked down at us like we must be lost, or worse, a sales rep.“We have an appointment,” Val explained and somehow this seemed even more unfathomable for him to believe as he glanced down at her six inch heels.
“Name?”
Expecting to hear something along the lines of Jane Smith, I was stunned when Val announced, “Umm, yes…Alley Mitchel.”
“My name?” I looked at her in disbelief because it wouldn’t be that hard for Shane to glance through the calendar organizer in front of “Kellan” and see my name listed there.
“Will it be just you, Ms. Mitchel, on the tour?” he asked me.
“Tour?” I squeaked because I thought we would ask a few short questions and then skedaddle. Who knew if Shane was hanging around somewhere in the back?
“No, I’ll be joining her,” Val insisted.
“Oh, I’m not missing this.” Kayla snorted and came up beside me.
“You guys aren’t leaving without me.” Libby threw down the magazine and quickly joined us.

Although we moved down to North Carolina several years ago, we’re originally from the Pittsburgh area. (That’s why a lot of our characters either live in the Burgh or reference our hometown football team, The Pittsburgh Steelers.) And yes, we even have the Southern accents to show for it now. Although Megan’s is considerable thicker, Leah still can’t understand the locals.
We are known as ‘the sisters’ among our neighborhood; when actually we’re probably really known as ‘the sisters with the Yorkies’. Our pups, Skippy Jon Jones and Captain Jack Sparrow, were given long names to compensate for their small size but not their large personalities.
If Leah’s not glued to her electronic devices, AKA her Kindle Fire and various laptops, you can find her training ‘the attack dogs’, running on the treadmill while conceiving the next great book idea with the Dave Matthews Band, Muse, Florence and the Machine, The Lumineers, and Pink (just to name a few) blaring out of her earphones.
If Megan’s not glued to her electronic devices AKA her iPad and Nook Color, you can find her teaching fourth graders, swimming marathon style at the pool, or cuddling with ‘the attack dogs’ as she watches Duck Dynasty, Gold Rush, Scandal, Person of Interest, Morning Joe, etc.
Leah graduated from Edinboro University with a BA in Art Education. Megan received her teaching degree from Edinboro University and Masters in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Technology from Grand Canyon University.

This stunning debut captures the grotesque madness of a mystical under-land, as well as a girl’s pangs of first love and independence. Alyssa Gardner hears the whispers of bugs and flowers—precisely the affliction that landed her mother in a mental hospital years before. This family curse stretches back to her ancestor Alice Liddell, the real-life inspiration for Lewis Carroll’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. Alyssa might be crazy, but she manages to keep it together. For now.
When her mother’s mental health takes a turn for the worse, Alyssa learns that what she thought was fiction is based in terrifying reality. The real Wonderland is a place far darker and more twisted than Lewis Carroll ever let on. There, Alyssa must pass a series of tests, including draining an ocean of Alice’s tears, waking the slumbering tea party, and subduing a vicious bandersnatch, to fix Alice’s mistakes and save her family. She must also decide whom to trust: Jeb, her gorgeous best friend and secret crush, or the sexy but suspicious Morpheus, her guide through Wonderland, who may have dark motives of his own.

~Chatty Bugs~I’ve been collecting bugs since I was ten; it’s the only way I can stop their whispers. Sticking a pin through the gut of an insect shuts it up pretty quick.
Some of my victims line the walls in shadow boxes, while others get sorted into mason jars and placed on a bookshelf for later use. Crickets, beetles, spiders…bees and butterflies. I’m not picky. Once they get chatty, they’re fair game.

~Missed Kiss~He walked to ward me slowly, his leather shoes pressing down the long grasses. I could feel his breath on my cheek as he leaned forward. My eyes fluttered shut, but I forced them open again. His breath was hot against my lips, and his face blotted out the sky, so I could see nothing but his eyes and the pores of his skin.“Because,” he said in tones of honey and velvet, “I’ve always had to push away people I care about. You’re the only one who ever pushed back.”The words brushed against my lips and sent the butterflies tumbling again. He’s going to kiss me, he’s going to—He leaned back and patted me on the head. My cheeks turned tomato-red as I glared at him.He blinked and stared back, looking completely innocent. “What?” he said. He took another look at me and burst out laughing. “Did you think I was going to…?” He folded his arms, pressing his fingertips against the insides of his elbows as he laughed.“I’m glad you think it’s so funny,” I fumed. Why the hell could he always pull one over on me?

Excerpt
I can’t open my eyes. Some vague voices are chaotically saying something in the background—it feels like dreaming. As the voices become clearer, I figure they are male voices shouting at each other angrily.
“Don’t fuck it up, Daniel, could you learn for your shitty sake to control that temper? I don’t need your stress right now, so if you’re not going to help, get out of here, you guilty ass. Beat it!”
Who is that? Why can’t I open my eyes? I can’t even move at all; my body doesn’t respond my commands. And this pain . . . Jesus! It hurts so badly. The world is spinning, nauseating me, as a sharp disturbing noise sounds in my head. Few seconds after, everything seems to slide away slowly.
Everything is dark and silent. I can’t control any muscle of my body. I feel helpless.
The inability of movement causes intense pain all over my body, with each struggle more. Oliver could help me now, I feel safe with him. Where are you, Oliver? Help me, please. I need your strength, your hug, and your heat more than ever.
The voices stop fighting. I hear a door strongly slammed and then some steps coming towards me. Oh no! I struggle for a last time to move before the steps get me.

“How would you have done it?”
His question surprises me. “You mean how would I have killed you?”
“Yes. Do you have a favorite method for such things?”
Since he knows I am an assassin, there is no need to be coy. “I prefer a garrote. I like the intimacy it allows me when I whisper reminders of vengance in their ears as they die. But in your case, I had sharpened my favorite knife especially for the occasion.”
His brows quirk up. “Why no garrote for me?”
I look pointedly at his thick neck, bulging with muscle and sinew. “I do not have one big enough,” I mutter. “Besides, yours was to be a merciful death. A knife is quicker and less painful.” If I thought my confession would shock him into putting some distance between us, I was sorely mistaken, for the great lummox laughs.

Fate isn’t something to mess with… and now, neither is Alex.
Alex has always feared two things: losing herself in the Awakening and being placed on the Elixir. But love has always been stronger than Fate, and Aiden St. Delphi is willing to make war on the gods—and Alex herself—to bring her back.
The gods have killed thousands and could destroy entire cities in their quest to stop Seth from taking Alex’s power and becoming the all-powerful God Killer. But breaking Alex’s connection to Seth isn’t the only problem. There are a few pesky little loopholes in the whole “an Apollyon can’t be killed” theory, and the only person who might know how to stop the destruction has been dead for centuries.
Finding their way past the barriers that guard the Underworld, searching for one soul among countless millions, and then somehow returning will be hard enough. Alex might be able to keep Seth from becoming the God Killer… or she might become the God Killer herself.
