Follow Friday (9)

Follow Friday is hosted By Parajunkee.com and Alisoncanread.com

This week question is:
What imaginary book world would you like to make a reality?

There are so many magical worlds that I would love to make reality!! I'll try to keep it short. Let's start first with the fantasy worlds!

1) The Tortall Universe by Tamora Pierce: I like the idea of living in a medieval setting with magic. And this is a world where girls have to work hard to get recognized, so I'm up for that.

2) The World of Avatar The Last Airbender: I know it's not a book, but wouldn't it be wicked cool to live in a world where you're able to control one element?...or all if you're the Avatar ;)

3) The World of Elantra by Michelle Sagara West: It's a pretty bizarre world with tons of weird races and weirder magic. Plus my favorite part is that there are dragons in human form. Smoldering hot dragons, so gotta love it!

5) Ixia and Sitia by Maria V. Snyder: what I love most about this world is that there are endless manifestations of magic. No person has the exact same magic ability as the other. They're all so unique!

6) The Malazan World by Steven Erikson: this place is just epic. It's a complete world with continents, diverse races of both animals and evolved beings, massive wars, terrible magic, and meddling gods. Basically anything you can imagine, this world will have it, only it will be bigger, badder, and well epic.

Finally, for magical worlds that are already set in our world I would pick:

1) The Vampire Academy World by Richelle Mead: because who doesn't dream with being a good vampire who can go out during the day and control one element? Or maybe you dream of becoming a guardian and helping protect said vampires?

2) The Mercedes Thompson World by Patricia Briggs: sexy werewolves, vengeful vampires, mysterious witches, god-like powerful and scary as hell fae, native american gods, and skin walkers. What more can I ask for?

3) The Jane True World by Nicole Peeler: a world filled with pretty much every magical being you can imagine; from selkies to kelpies, to barghest, baohban siths, and gnomes with some badass magical powers.

I personally congratulate all those who did read my whole list!
