Out Today!

Two new book releases today!

First we have Dragon's Oath (A House of Night Novella) by P.C Cast and Kristin Cast. As the title indicates, it's the story of Dragon Lankford and how he comes to be the Sword Master at the House of Night.

The US cover seems to be a new design and its lovely but, I got myself the UK one, just because of the cover matches the other US covers.

And second, we have Forever (Wolves of Mercy Falls, Book 3) by Maggie Stiefvater. A continuation to the series and the lovely romance between Sam and Grace. Will they ever find a cure for the wolves? And if not, how much longer before they're all wiped out by the hunting parties?

Both of these covers just rock my socks.

I pre-ordered mine so they should be in the mail today and making their loooong journey to me.

Teaser Tuesdays (1)

In my daily quest for learning more about the blogging world and connecting with other book lovers out there, I found this meme by MizB at Should Be Reading. The rules are very simple and fun:
  1.  Grab your current read.
  2. Let the book fall open to a random page.
  3. Share with us two (2) "teaser" sentences from that page, somewhere between lines 7 and 12.
  4. You also need to share the tittle of the book that you're getting your "teaser" from ... that way people can have some great book recommendations if they like the teaser you've given!
  5. Most importantly... NO spoilers! If the lines that you picked give away too much, then pick another.

So here is my first "teaser":

"Kiril kept his face and body still when he wanted to bolt from the room. He shouldn't have come --no matter how this ended, he would get no satisfaction from the outcome."

I'm also reading Hush Hush by  Becca Fitzpatric, so I'll throw in a teaser from that too ;D

"Mr. Green Sweater looks normal, but his wingman looks hard-core bad boy," said Vee. "Emits a certain don't-mess-with-me signal. Tell me he doesn't look like Dracula's spawn. Tell me I'm imagining things."

Ch. 4 (Sorry! It's on my kindle so no pages)
