Waiting on Wednesday (31)

Hosted at Breaking the Spine, spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating.

I am eagerly waiting for...

Hippocampus
(The Atlantis Revolution)
by Tom Tancin
Release Date: April 3rd
An Island that Shouldn't Exist...
A Life He Didn't Know...
A Destiny That Can't Be Escaped

There was no turning back. We were going to set into motion a revolution that could either save Atlantis or leave it destroyed in the process.

Sixteen-year-old Trey Atlas' known life is a lie. While he was raised in Miami, Trey was actually born in Atlantis. Sent off the legendary island as a baby for his own safety, Trey is the only living heir to the Atlantean throne. Whether he likes it or not, Trey has to go back to his birthplace and accept his role as the Ruling Prince and lead the revolution to defeat the Knights of the Abyss. Otherwise, thousands of innocent lives and his true family legacy could be lost forever.

Why am I waiting for it?
No other reason than because it's Atlantis ;)

Musing Mondays (23) &It's Monday! (19)

 Hosted by Should Be Reading.
 This week’s musing is…
Did you do any reading in lieu of watching the football game, yesterday, or were you foregoing reading to watch the game? If you read a book (or books) what did you choose?

Yesterday night I was reading and reviewing the first pages of a friend's thesis novel, instead of completing my own. LOL. I know, I know. I will sit down today and complete mine. But yesterday I needed something cool and funny to read and her novel is just that.  I hope to one day review the completed thing and post it here, 'cause I'm sure a lot of people will love it as much as I do.
Once I finished reading her thesis I broke my rule--read meme below the comment on A Million Suns--and went ahead and started reading it. Oh boy. When I realized what I'd just done it was 3am and my brain was churning over and over the story and I couldn't go to sleep! Loving it!

Hosted by Book Journey

Just Finished Reading:

Goddess Interrupted by Aimee Carter
Everneath by Brodi Ashton
(After these two its more clear than ever that I LOVE YA MYTHOLOGY)

Currently Reading:
A Million Suns by Beth Revis
(Haven't started actually. I still need to complete the 30 pages of thesis before the 12th and until those get done, I'm not touching this novel. Because I know I'll just get sucked into the story for a whole day or two)

Planning To Read:
Chosen Ones by Tiffani Truitt
(Got the opportunity to receive an ARC of this! So excited!)
The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins
(Actually re-reading it for my YA class)
