This week question is:
If you could write yourself a part in a book, what book would it be and what role would you play in that book?
Well...this is a hard question. I think my first choice would be a role in a YA Paranormal Romance/Urban Fantasy, but one with lots of action. Something like The Mortal Instruments or Vampire Academy, where I would have to deal with vampires, werewolves, and other supernaturals on a daily basis. I would pick the role of sidekick/trusted friend, because they are awesome. They are the support system, there to encourage and kick the hero's ass when he/she is down. They're also the comic relief or the voice of reason when needed.
My second choice would be a role in a Fantasy book. In this case I'd have to pick a world so: Tamora Pierce's Tortall (medievalesque), Maria V. Snyder's Sitia and Ixia (full of magic), and Michelle Sagara West's Elantra (full of weird magic and races). I'd pick the role of mentor. I've always seen them as the true badass characters. They're the wise ones who teach the hero along the way helping him/her grow up ;)
