This week question is:
What are you reading right now? How do you like it?

I'm reading Magnificent Devices, which is the third book in the Magnificent Devices Trilogy by Shelley Adina. Not only do these books have gorgeous covers, but they're also fun reads with a great cast of characters. The MC is a strong, willful heroine, and, though not the focus, there is a swoon-worthy gentleman! SO, the answers is, Yes, I like it!

If you could "unread" a book, which one would it be? Is it because you want to start over and experience it again for the first time? Or because it was THAT bad?

This week question is:
Do you read one book at a time or do you switch back and forth between two or more?
I like to concentrate on one book at a time, and most of the time it's not even a question of concentrating, its about OMG I CAN'T PUT THIS BOOK DOWN! So there's really no need for me to pick up another. However if a book fails to catch my attention I might a) start reading another and switch them over until i finish the two (though this often fails as the new book usually interests me more) or 2) stop reading it entirely and give it a chance later on. Right now I have a TON of books for review from NetGalley and luckily they are all turning out to be awesome, unluckyly I've stop reading the paperbacks I just bought like Timeless by Gail Carriger and The Hob's Bargain by Patricia Briggs. I'm making my way through them rather slowly, but I'll finish them! So I'll be juggling two books until I finish those ^__^'

This week question is:
What is the longest book you've read? What are your favorite 600+ page reads?

Longest Read
A Clash of Kings (A Song of Fire and Ice 2): 1009 Pages
I read this way back during my first year in college, when the HBO series wasn't even an idea. I've been wanting to re-read them again so I can start with the rest of the books. They're just so damn tragic! Like seriously, the good guys always lose.

This week question is:
Activity!!! Take a picture or describe where you love to read the most...

I like to read in my room, specifically on my bed. But if I showed you a picture of my room you'd end up gouging your eyes out after, and I don't want that. So let's settle for a short description, and a pic of my new pillow cases ^__^
My room is very small and there's a ton of furniture and crap lying around, but though it feels cramped at times, it's also my own little world and no one interrupts me here. It's painted vanilla white on two sides and an awesome royal blue on the other two. I've got posters of Jacob from Twilight (Yum), Jack from Pirates of the Caribbean (double Yum), and  Amy Lee from Evanescence (because she rocks). And my new companions, Katniss and Peeta LOL
It's not the only place I like to read in. I sometimes read in the living room, but then there are always interruptions. I wish we had Barnes&Nobles here, or even a freaking Starbucks, but alas there are none.

Where do you like to read?

This week question is:
What would you prefer: reading your favorite book over and over again until you got sick of it OR reading 100s of mediocre books? And why?

I have a double answer for this. As a reader my answer would be, yes, I'd prefers to read my favorite book(s)/series over again and not have to read another mediocre book ever again! I'd just live in bliss reading Tamora Pierce's novels, Harry Potter,  Vampire Academy, Soul Screamers, Divergent, The Mortal Instruments, The Infernal Devices, etc over and over again. And I don't think I'd ever be sick of them really.
However, as a writer I can't think like that. I can't just stay reading the same books over and over again hoping they give me the key to success. In reading mediocre books I learn what works, what doesn't, and why it doesn't work. And all of that is knowledge I need for when I write my own stories. Of course, you never know what kind of book it is until you open it so, maybe I'll run into a lot of mediocre novels along way, but I love the big surprise when I find a real gem among the crap pile.

What do you prefer?

This week question is:
Define what characteristics your favorite books share. Do they all have a kickass heroine or is the hot love interest the Alpha Male?

LOL. Well yes. They do in fact have kickass heroines and the hot love interest is an Alpha Male. I could divide them into two categories, the active heroines and the passive ones. Active heroines would be the ones who literally kickass. Example: Rose from Vampire Academy, Saba from Blood Red Road, and Tris from Divergent. Passive heroines are the ones who are kickass without having to kick ass. Example: Grace from Sweet Venom, Amy from Across the Universe, Nora from Dearly, Departed, and Sydney from Bloodlines

As for the hot love interests...yeah, they are 'alpha males' but they have to let the heroine express herself. Meaning they can't treat her as if she's about to break. Some of my favorites are: Four from Divergent, Archer from Blood Red Road, and Tod from Soul Screamers
