This week question is:
What is the best book you've read in the last month? What is the worst book you've read in the last month?
Let's do this cowboy style... the good, the bad, and the ugly.
The Good
Jennifer L. Armentrout's novels will always fall under the good category. And Pure is a sequel and yall know about the saying that sequels always suck. But this one SO ROCKED MY WORLD.
Then there's R.L. LaFever's debut into the YA world, and she does it with a bang in with this riveting historical fantasy story of assassin nuns.
The Bad
This was a great premise, and a great story, yet somehow I never connected with it or the characters.
The Ugly
If there's one thing I can never get past is bad prose, and this...this was ugly. But the story and the characters have me intrigued, as in I can't stop thinking about them intrigued. So I'll give it a second try sometime soon.
