Dear Alexandria,
I'd hoped to impart some sagely advice by telling you my own experience of my 18th birthday. The thing is that after much thinking I have to admit I don’t remember what the crap I did for my 18th birthday. I remember being excited because I was finally going to be a grown up. As if that day would magically transform me, make me wiser. Yeah, right. The truth is that being a grown-up is about having experience in life, going through hardships and coming on the other side bruised but alive. This is why I admire you Alex! You've gone through hell and back, and you're still kicking ass.
There will be many obstacles in your path, especially after finding out the truth of your powers, but I'm sure you're ready to deal with whatever comes your way. So here is my wish for you. I wish you a happy birthday and that wherever you are, be it battling daimon or dealing with unwanted Apollyon crap, you’re with your friends. Aiden, Caleb, or even Seth, because those are people who care about you and, really, there’s nothing better than spending your birthday with your friends.
