Fight! Fight! If you could have two fictional characters battle it out (preferably from books), who would they be and who do you think would win?
I'm going to pick steampunk as the genre for the characters since that's what I've been obsessively reading lately.
Finley Jane vs Deryn Sharp
Jane has this sort of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde effect that makes her go from a foolishly brave to badass girl in a second. I think Jane could win by brute force alone. Deryn doesn't have any 'special powers,' but she is smart and extremely resourceful. She would probably see they would be better off as friends so she would find a way to turn Jane into an ally. I can just imagine Jane trying to get Deryn into corsets and skirts!
