Have you had a character disappoint you? One that you fell in love with and then "broke up" with later on in either the series or a stand-alone book? Tell us about him or her.
I fell in love with Calla from Andrea Cremer's Nightshade Trilogy during the first book. She was brave, a little wreckless, managed two boys pretty well (I think), and by the end she chose one. She gave up everything to be with him, renounced her family and everything. Then came book two...I broke up with Calla during Wolfsbane. You can read all about it in my review. I still haven't read the third and final book...
