Thank you so much to everyone that participated! You guys rocked those answers!! There were some great choices to pick from, and here are my top three winners!
1. vetteklisa
Weapon of choice:
...my own personal charonte demon. It would stay on my body as a tattoo until I called it out. Like Acheron's Simi in pretty much all the Dark Hunter Series by Sherrilyn Kenyon.
Quote:
[Simi] “Oh, see then, the Simi is not in trouble. I just kill the Greek god and all’s fine."
[Acheron] "You can’t kill a Greek god, Simi. It’s not allowed."[Simi] "There you go again, akri, saying no to the Simi. Don’t eat that, Simi. Don’t kill that, Simi. Stay here, Simi. Go to Katoteros, Simi, and wait for me to call you. I don’t like being told no, akri."
Simi sounds adorable and quite deadly at the same time. Amy loves.
2. Christina K
Weapon of choice:
When it comes to having a weapon that can inflict physical damage, I'd love to have Invidia's poisonous hair from My Soul to Steal by Rachel Vincent. It's deadly, I'd always literally have it on me, and it can easily be concealed. Plus, just one flick of my hair and whatever creep is lurking around or whatever villain is close gets fried. You raze your opponents without getting dirty or out of breath and you can do it by looking perfectly cool and stylish
The only thing I'd improve on with the poisonous hair is to control when poison is released, so you can go about your daily life without anyone noticing anything, then when you need to you can lure people close enough and unleash the poison.
Quote:
But her most prominent feature by far was her hair - an ever-dripping flow of noxious liquid, streaming over her head and and down her back in distinct currents and waves. The flow was thick and black (...) As I watched she brushed a streaming strand back from her hawkish face and several drops splattered on the floor at her back, sizzling.
Very original I think, and deadly. Amy likes.
3. hrtansoul
Weapon of choice:
I think an iron bar would be best. From the book Conversion by S. C. Stephens. My favorite part of the book is near the end when Teren is almost to die, Emma takes control.
I loved this because Teren was such a good man that when he is about to die he still will not let the vampire in him take control. Emma who loves him saves him by taking the life of the man who captured them.
Quote:
I leaned forward over his body. "He's too good a man to kill you."
I raised the bar and with one hard push shoved it into the soft spot at the hollow of his throat. The man jerked in surprise as the iron ripped through his flesh and hit his spine. "I'm not so good," I growled lowly.
Brutal but very effective. Amy approves.
