(The Iron Fey 4.5)
Julie Kagawa
September 1 2012

Meghan Chase is finally getting used to being the Iron Queen, ruler of the Iron Fey. Her life may be strange, but with former Winter prince Ash by her side at last, she wouldn’t have it any other way.

But when they travel to the Summer and Winter courts’ gathering for Elysium, the oracle from Meghan’s past returns with a dire prophecy: “What you carry will either unite the courts, or it will destroy them.” Now Meghan faces a devastating choice that may determine the future of all fey—and her and Ash’s unborn child…

Why am I waiting for it?
It's Julie Kagawa. It's the Iron Fey. It's Meghan and Ash.
What more reasons do I need? None.

Teaser Tuesday (51)

Hosted by MizB at Should Be Reading

Juliet Immortal

Real love has little to do with falling. It’s a climb up the rocky face of a mountain, hard work, and most people are too selfish or scared to bother. Very few reach the critical point in their relationship that summons the attention of the light and the dark, that place where they will make a commitment to love no matter what obstacles—or temptations—appear in their path.

Musing Mondays (43) &It's Monday! (39)

 Hosted by Should Be Reading.
 This week’s musing is…

Have you ever read a book that, at the time, you didn't feel a strong connection towards, but as time goes by you find yourself thinking about it a lot?

Yes! It was the weirdest thing. I picked up The Demon Trapper's Daughter because it was recommended by an author I really like. After reading it I thought it was cool, but I just wasn't that excited by it, you know? Not like other books that leave me babbling and rambling on and on about them. Like Shadow and Bone which I'm currently reading and seriously, start a conversation with me and it'll lead to a conversations abotu the Grisha, and the Darkling, and Mal, and...See. Anyways, I kept thinking about the Demon Trappers, and Beck, and the different types of demons, and the spheres, and Beck, and Riley, and Beck...Then a year passed and Soul Thief (Demon Trappers 2) came out. So I went back and re-read The Demon Trapper's Daughter, and OMG I couldn't get enough of it. Same thing when Forgiven came out. I was practically swooning left and right with excitement. It's one of my favorites series right now, and I'm anxiously waiting for the last book Foretold!
