Musing Mondays (43) &It's Monday! (39)

 Hosted by Should Be Reading.
 This week’s musing is…

Have you ever read a book that, at the time, you didn't feel a strong connection towards, but as time goes by you find yourself thinking about it a lot?

Yes! It was the weirdest thing. I picked up The Demon Trapper's Daughter because it was recommended by an author I really like. After reading it I thought it was cool, but I just wasn't that excited by it, you know? Not like other books that leave me babbling and rambling on and on about them. Like Shadow and Bone which I'm currently reading and seriously, start a conversation with me and it'll lead to a conversations abotu the Grisha, and the Darkling, and Mal, and...See. Anyways, I kept thinking about the Demon Trappers, and Beck, and the different types of demons, and the spheres, and Beck, and Riley, and Beck...Then a year passed and Soul Thief (Demon Trappers 2) came out. So I went back and re-read The Demon Trapper's Daughter, and OMG I couldn't get enough of it. Same thing when Forgiven came out. I was practically swooning left and right with excitement. It's one of my favorites series right now, and I'm anxiously waiting for the last book Foretold!

Just Finished Reading:
The Golden Lily by Richelle Mead
(Oh, Adrian! I weep for you. And Sydney! You moron!)
Tempest's Fury by Nicole Peeler
(Miss Peeler has slain me with this book. I loved every bit of it.)

Currently Reading:
Dearly, Beloved by Lia Habel
(Abraham Griswold. There has never been a more good, honest, sexy, and undead man.)
Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo
(The Grisha have me babbling incoherently at their awesomeness.)

Planning To Read:
It should be Awry (The Archer's of Avalon 2) and Velveteen but I'm so far behind in school work its not even funny. And classes started a week ago! How could I get so far behind in a week? I've no idea. Anyways reading will be slow, and thus reviews will be few and far between. But as soon as I catch up with school, I'll speed up the reading.

Also, I'll be doing a new feature on certain Saturdays. I'll be interviewing my fellow classmates and writers about their work and stuff. I hope you, my lovely readers, help support these awesome writers!
